Bullet-proof your Gen 1, Gen 2, or Gen 3 Ford Raptor and Bronco Raptor shocks with TSW Off-Road’s new 6061 Billet top hat kit! This kit is the perfect solution to the weak points seen with factory strut mounts (top hats).

Typically, with substandard OEM valving and aftermarket springs, the top hat can rip or break. Our new kit converts to an FK bearing and upgraded materials. Pair this with a TSW shock rebuild and Bravo valving for a complete solution while using your preferred aftermarket spring and retaining OEM strut mount tolerances.

Important Note:

• Compatibility Warning: This kit will NOT work with Hyperco springs for Bronco Raptor.
• Fits Gen 1 Ford Raptor 10-14
• Fits Gen 2 Ford Raptor 17-20
• Fits Gen 3 Ford Raptor 21+

Installation Process:

1. Preparation: Ensure the vehicle is securely lifted and supported. Remove the wheels to access the strut assembly.
2. Remove Factory Strut Mounts: Carefully disconnect the strut assembly and remove the factory top hats.
3. Install Billet Top Hat Kit: Replace the factory top hats with the TSW Off-Road billet top hats. Ensure the FK bearings and stainless steel misalignments are properly seated.
4. Reassemble Strut Assembly: Reattach the strut assembly to the vehicle, ensuring all components are securely fastened.
5. Check Alignment: Verify that the strut assembly is correctly aligned and that there is no increased spring preload.
6. Final Inspection: Double-check all connections and components for proper installation. Reinstall the wheels and lower the vehicle.

NOTE:

RED Loctite must be used on threads of top hat.

Anti seize is recommended for bearing/ misalignments  

For Gen 1 Raptor- do not use the factory “Wedges”

Factory nuts will be reused (Use blue Loctite)

Torque shaft nut and top hat nuts to factory spec.
